1997

Caco de Telha is born

Caco de Telha Produção e Eventos is founded, to administer the solo career of artist Ivete Sangalo, until then lead singer of the band Eva.

1999

Ivete begins her solo career

Overcome with emotion, Ivete bids farewell to Eva on 16th February at Salvador Carnival, to begin her solo career, and participates for the first time in the famous Ash Wednesday “arrastão” final parade, leaving the crowds ecstatic.

2000

Ivete debuts as solo artist in Bahia’s carnival

A year after leaving Eva, Ivete Sangalo debuts her solo participation in Salvador’s carnival, in command of Cerveja & Cia and Me Abraça blocks, both on the Barra-Ondina circuit.

2001

Ivete performs on the Campo Grande circuit

Ivete Sangalo takes command of the Pinel block at Salvador’s Carnival, performing for the first time on the Campo Grande circuit in the centre of the Bahian capital.

2004

Portugal receives Ivete Sangalo

The year 2004 brought Ivete Sangalo closer to the lusitanian public. In June of this year, the artist performs at Rock in Rio Lisbon, and a month later begins a tour of various Portuguese cities.

2006

European tour and new products for the phonographic market

One year after its creation, Caco Discos launches new products in the Brazilian phonographic market. In January 2006 the company launches the DVD “Luiz Caldas ao Vivo em Salvador”, recorded during a concert held in November 2005.

2007

Caco de Telha is already one of the main entertainment groups in Brazil

With a considerable collection of companies and a diversified portfolio of events, attractions and products, Caco de Telha is already one of the main entertainment groups in Brazil.
